EasygoingGolden pothos
The plant that forgives you. Trails from a shelf, tolerates a dim corner, tells you when it's thirsty.
A neighborhood plant shop on Magnolia Lane. Houseplants we've grown ourselves, pots we'd put in our own homes, and honest advice about which corner gets enough light.

The collection
Tell us about your light and your life, and the list narrows itself. Everything here is in the shop this week and can be held for pickup.
EasygoingThe plant that forgives you. Trails from a shelf, tolerates a dim corner, tells you when it's thirsty.

Glossy, upright, nearly indestructible. Waters every couple of weeks and looks good in an office with one sad window.
Staff pickArchitectural blades edged in gold. Happy almost anywhere, including the bedroom.
Scene stealerThe split-leaf classic. Give it bright, indirect light and something to climb and it will take over the room, politely.
Scene stealerFive feet of drama. Needs a bright spot and a consistent routine. We'll show you both before it leaves.
Pet-safeSoft, feathery, a little thirsty. Loves a bathroom with a window and a weekly mist.
Pet-safePainted leaves that fold up at night. Keep it out of direct sun and it rewards you every morning.

Round, glossy, desk-sized. One of the easiest pet-safe plants we sell.
StatementBanana-sized leaves and a tropical attitude. Give it the brightest spot you have.
Pet-safeMakes babies you can give away. Safe for cats, unbothered by most light, cheerful about it.
Pet-safeA soft, slow-growing palm that's been living in dim parlors since the Victorians. Pet-safe.

Deep, almost-black leaves with a lacquered shine. Big presence, small fuss.
Nothing matches all of those at once. Try fewer filters, or ask us; we usually know a plant that fits.

Kind words
We get a lot of follow-up photos. Here are three we have permission to brag about.
I have killed every plant I've ever owned. The pothos they picked for me is eighteen months old and growing up the bookshelf.
Asked for something safe for a very curious cat. Left with a parlor palm and a care card. The cat is fine. The palm is thriving.
The Saturday clinic saved my fiddle-leaf. Turns out it was in the wrong window the whole time.

Plant help
The questions we answer most at the counter. For everything else, bring the plant in on a Saturday.
Stand where the plant will live at midday and look at your hand's shadow. Crisp edges mean bright light. Soft edges mean medium. Barely a shadow means low. Most "low light" plants still want to see the window from where they sit.
Look for the pet-safe tag in the collection: ferns, calatheas, peperomias, spider plants, parlor palms, and pileas are all good. Pothos, monstera, snake plants and fiddle-leafs are not. We'll always tell you before you buy.
Yes. Repotting is free with any pot you buy from us, and $8 with your own. We use a chunky, well-draining mix and we'll show you how to check when it's time to go up a size.
Bring it to the Saturday clinic, or send a photo of the whole plant and a close-up of the problem leaf. Yellow, crispy, droopy and spotty all mean different things, and most of them are fixable.
We do. We'll walk the space, suggest plants that fit the light and the traffic, deliver and install, and can come by monthly to keep everything looking right.
The Sunday water
